Mary Margaret Fanning: Middle School West, Salem, MA. Mrs. Fanning earned a B.S. in education from Salem State College, an M..S. in education from Fordham University, and has completed additional graduate studies at Lesley College, Northeastern University and Salem State College. With more than twenty years of classroom experience in kindergarten through middle school, she has extensive experience in developing language arts and social studies curricula. Fanning serves as a consultant to and a representative of the Peter Douglas Company, which produces an interactive book collection for pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten students.

Patricia E. Hynes: Salem High School Salem, MA. Ms. Hynes holds a B.A. and an M.A. in history from Salem State College. With twenty-five years of teaching experience at the high school level, she presently is head teacher in the social studies department at Salem High School. She has participated in several seminars and institutes in local history.

Elaine Magliaro: Bell School, Marblehead, MA. An elementary school teacher in Marblehead for twenty-five years, Mrs. Magliaro is a poet and winner of the Marblehead Arts poetry competition who presents writing and poetry workshops for children, parents and teachers. She is a member of the North Shore Reading Council, the National Council of Teachers of English and the International Reading Association. She was listed in Whos Who Among American Teachers in 1992.

Virginia M. Ryan: West Memorial School, Peabody, MA. Mrs. Ryan holds a B.A. in English from Marymount College. She has taught elementary school in Peabody for twenty-four years, and she has been active in a variety of curriculum development projects.

Leo "Tim" Ward: North Shore Community College , Division of Continuing Education. Mr. Ward has a B.A. in history from Salem State College and an M.A. in history from California State University at Los Angeles. His twenty years of classroom experience in California, New Hampshire and Massachusetts include assignments in middle school, junior high, high school, vocational school, technical institute and community college settings.
