The Haunted Neighborhood: Your first stop in Salem
The Salem Wax Museum and Salem Witch Village provide year-long entertainment and host the epicenter Halloween in Salem, "The Haunted Neighborhood."
Located on a dead-end street across from the Peabody Essex Museum and adjacent to the Tricentennial Witch Trials Memorial and The Charter Street Old Burying Point – reputed to be the 2nd oldest burial ground in the country. Each attraction boast gift shops with maritime gifts, confectioneries, books, T-shirts, and Pagan & Wiccan supplies. During Salem's October celebration "Haunted Happenings", the street is transformed into the"Haunted Neighborhood" with six of the cities best and longest running attractions, including haunted houses and walking tours. Various discounts combination passes are available!
Amazing fun time. Anyone coming into Salem don't miss this spot. The haunted houses are so worth ti! Highly recommend.

The wax museum is a history lesson of the local area and personalities. The costumes were accurate. Some of the figures were creepy and seemed ready to move!
