The Salem Wax Museum and The Salem Witch Village provide entertainment for all at the world famous epicenter of Halloween, "Haunted Happenings" in October. The Salem Wax Museum celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2023, read more. 

Both are located on a dead-end street across from the Peabody Essex Museum and adjacent to the Tricentennial Witch Trials Memorial and The Charter Street Old Burying Point – reputed to be the 2nd oldest burial ground in the country. Interred within are some of the notable of Salem’s History including “The Hanging Judge” John Hathorne.

During October, The Haunted Neighborhood is open daily with extended hours on weekends. Various combination passes for the neighborhood attractions are available.

The Salem Wax Museum boasts a museum gift shop with free gravestone rubbing. The Salem Witch Village has a brand new gift shop specializes in authentic pagan & Wicca supplies and gifts. Each store also carries ships-in-bottles maritime gifts, New England confectioneries, books, curios, a variety of T-shirts, and magical gifts.
